Evrima

Named for a word of Greek origin meaning “discovery,” Evrima sails to the world’s yachting playgrounds, where you’ll discover hidden coves and iconic cities while enjoying the relaxed pace of the yachting lifestyle. Culinary experiences on board range from casual poolside eateries to elegant fine dining, and The Ritz-Carlton Spa offers a wide array of revitalizing treatments. When you’re ready to explore, the sea or the shore is just steps away from Evrima’s aft Marina. After the day’s adventures, retire to your spacious suite and watch the sun drop beneath the horizon from your private terrace.

Ship Reviews

We have now sailed on both the Ilma and the Evrima. Both were beyond expectations and wonderful. In February 2026 we said on the Evrima from Aruba to Barbados. We booked this trip based on conversions we had with other guests on our first Ritz sailing on the Ilma. I cannot express how much we enjoyed both our Ritz sailings. The entire experience from arrival at the port, to every single staff on the yachts. The food and drinks are amazing. We were treated like the most important people on the ship. (Just like all the other passengers) They truly wanted our feedback on the dishes served and on our experiences. I have on sailed over 30 cruises, this is another level of service. The cost wast not as bad as you first think because so much is included! I could list hundreds of things that made our vacation special on the Ritz, I will mention a few. - Escorted onto the ship, met with dining planner and then escorted to our cabin. - suite attendant and assistant were so attentive. If either of them were in the hall as we approached, they used their card to open our suite door and welcome us back to our suite. - dining staff were so personable and timely. - most staff called us by name - excursions were almost like private activities. Small groups and very nice! - escorted to our bags at debarkation and assisted to our transportation. Immigration came onto the ship before we exited and processed us. - wonderful wonderful experience. Can’t wait for next time!

First, let me describe all the things wrong with it. The pre-voyage contingent was very disorganized. Quite literally four people interacted with us. They often took a long time to get back and – total rookie mistake – did not remind us a day ahead of the specific port and Venice has two, as we learned a very expensive cab ride later. Heck, you fly economy on Spirit Air and they remind you a day ahead. The fitness room should have had one seated exercise bike with back support (consider their demogaphic!) instead of two identical ones with no back support. The internet was very fast, but the tech was otherwise pretty bad, starting with the app, which you can’t search for on your phone with keyword ‘ritz.” (You need to use “Yacht”.) Also, the strawberry gelato was icy, the pillows aren’t soft, and the lifejackets when you swim off the marina bit into your neck. The breaded tofu never should have been allowed to leave the kitchen or even appear on the menu, and the ramen was no good. One of the tenders was unavailable for two days and they had no contingency plan for contacting people to stagger their departures, meaning we cooled our heels in the living room for up to 90 minutes. So we lost half of a prepaid private tour. (By the way, don’t feel constrained by their tours. while every shore day was great, the very best were the ones we planned on our own, either with or without finding a tour. You can, with some work, plan great days on your own.) Otherwise, it was a totally spectacular experience start to finish. we will definitely be doing another one. The service was impeccable, starting with our Ambassador Andre and his colleague Mark. Seems like the entire staff knew our names by the end. The ship itself was outstanding. You barely knew you were moving. The rooms were great and very quiet. (We upgraded but the upgrade was not worth it, as some of the square footage was a corridor.) The food except for those two meals was outstanding. we did not do SEA and to do it all over again would still not do SEA, because it is quite a commitment of time and money. Do a really great meal on the long shore days instead, for less or the same cost. Basically aside from those very specific complaints (easily remediable if the staff reads this, as I am sure they will), this was the best-ever vacation. They have certainly learned a lot from their early bad reviews, which is how I know they’ll read this one and learn some more.

This was our second Ritz Carlton Yacht experience and it certainly won’t be our last. It is true luxury at sea. The ship itself, the onboard amenities, the staterooms and the staff are all exceptional. They are listening to customer feedback. We saw many improvements between our first and second voyage. For example, they change the menus in all restaurants every three days to ensure variety. The food is top notch - caviar, fresh seafood, even custom requests - I don’t think there is a line that offers better quality dining. The entertainment has also significantly improved from nightly musicians to watercolor painting and mixology classes. If you like cruising, perhaps this line may not appeal. If you like luxury resorts, like the Ritz and Four Seasons, this is like a hotel on the sea. It has a refined sophistication and you go to relax and enjoy 5 star service. I appreciate the small capacity, the intimate feel and the personalized care that was extended to us during our voyage. Kudos to hotel manager Fabio for his leadership, to Julie, the entertainment director, Bianca, the guest relations manager, and all of the kind service from the restaurants from Hana, Dadan, Harry, Vishal and so many more. They all go out of their way to make sure you have a special experience.
